The development and implementation of a business continuity management framework is a complex process which involves many stakeholders. A typical project may take upwards of 6 months and in some situations can go on for 12 to 18 months.
Without proper planning, coordination, monitoring and management, the project can be delayed, terminated or delivered without meeting all the requirements. Hence, the project will fail.
