Readiness Assessment

Description

The main reason for implementing BCM or its related disciplines are to have the organization at a state of readiness to response to and recover from a catastrophic incident. Thus how ready the organization is a key index on the success of the implementation.

While an audit or a gap analysis may to some extend determine the readiness but it is not comprehensive enough. For example, just because a car has a spare type and a jack does not necessarily mean the driver is ready for a flat tire situation.

With a readiness assessment we explore the readiness of the infrastructures and resources and the types of incidents which they can survive. We explore the people aspects in more detail identifying if they are really know their stuff and have the capability to carry out their tasks adequately.
