Description

When implementing BCM we start by establishing a framework consisting of strategies, policies, structures and guidelines.

The framework is derived from the information analyzed from the risk assessment and business impact analysis.

Strategic policies are board of directors / top management intentions with regards to the organization’s preparedness for a disaster.

These are often influence by business and regulatory requirements.

Governance structures are established to support the implementation and maintenance of the strategies.

Key processes are established to address development, maintenance and execution, methodology, procedures and guidelines.
